Elon Musk
Elon musk was born on 28 June 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa. He is a successful software engineer, investor, and rocket scientist. His father was an engineer and mother a model. His parents got divorced when Elon was 9 years old. And they parted ways, and since then Elon has lived with his father in Pretoria. He also had two younger siblings, but Elon’s father used to pay more attention to Elon. Elon Musk was fond of books since childhood. In his childhood, he had read those books which probably no college students even read.
In 1984, when Elon Musk was 12 years old, he learned programming with the help of some books and made a game on the computer kept at home. Whose name was Blaster. He sold this game made in a simple programming language to a company online for $500. And he paid his school fees with this money. Elon Musk was of a straight nature since childhood, so some miscreants of the school where he studied used to trouble him. And used to fight with them. Once those miscreants together beat Elon so much that Elon fainted. And after that he threw Elon down the stairs, then he was admitted to the hospital, where his memory returned after several days. Even today after this incident, he still has difficulty in breathing. And in these hesitant circumstances, he completed his high school studies in South Africa itself. And after that he went to Canada with his mother. And he got the citizenship of that place.
After going to Canada, he enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics. And earned an economics degree from the Wharton School of Business. To meet the shortage of money, Elon did many small jobs in Canada and at one point he even worked as a drain cleaner. After that, in the year 1995, he moved from Canada to USA to do Phd in physics. Took admission in Stanford University, Elon came face to face with Internet here and within two days he dropped out from Phd and put all his attention in Internet.
Elon Musk made Paypal-
In the same year, Elon musk and his brother Kimbal Musk together formed an online software company Zip2 with the money received from their father’s ancestral property. Which used to work as a city guide for the online newspaper publisher industry. Later this company was sold by Elon and his brother to a well known computer company Compaq for 307 million dollars. From which Elon got $ 22 million, although a common man can spend his life comfortably with this much money. But Elon had something else going on in his mind. So he made a website X.com with these money which was an Online Payment website. Which was renamed Paypal.
Then in July 2002, eBay.com bought Paypal for $1.5 billion. Which is equal to about 97.5 billion rupees according to Indian rupees. And out of this Elon musk got $165 Million but he was not satisfied with this also, he had brought Financial Revolution in the payment industry. But Elon was thinking of doing something big, he wanted to settle humanity out of the earth and wanted to bring a revolution. He had kept such a thought in his mind, listening to which people often say that he has gone mad. He invested all this money in many companies. And went to Los Angeles and started living on rent with his friends. With the money that came in the investment return, he formed a company SpaceX in 2002. So let’s know about the spaceX company.
SpaceX –
Space Exploration Technologies Corp i.e. SpaceX company is an aerospace company founded by Elon musk in the year 2002, before 2002 there was no private aerospace company in the world. All were government organizations, but in 2002, Elon Musk proved that private sector can also be a participant in this sector and can play their part well. SpaceX is headquartered in Hawthorne, California, United States. And today 7000 Employees are working in this company.
Elon Musk’s aim behind setting up SpaceX is not at all that he will discover a new planet somewhere, find planets somewhere, find an atmosphere somewhere, rather his only aim is to make space exploration, space travel the cheapest. And taking this as a motive, he founded the SpaceX company. Elon Musk also talks about establishing a human colony on Mars. And till date he has never given up and has achieved all his goals. In the initial period, 3 consecutive rocket projects of Elon Musk failed and he was on the verge of bankruptcy. Why Elon Musk’s SpaceX is ahead of ISRO and NASA
There is no doubt that India’s Space Research Organization ISRO is doing a great job. And we are proud of this. Recently, by successfully sending 104 satellites into space, ISRO has brought laurels to the whole of India in the whole world. And with Mangalyaan, ISRO has joined the top 5 space agencies of the world. While America’s space agency NASA is on the first number. But all the agencies of the world still make such rockets which are not resuable, that is, once they are sent into space, they do not come back again. While Elon musk’s SpaceX rockets can be completely reused. That is, they are able to go to space and then back to earth and from earth to space again.
Elon says that he wants to send such satellites in space so that everyone can get free fast internet.
Tesla –
He invested in Tesla Motor Company in 2004, which was making electric cars based on tesla coil. Elon had already known that people would use electric cars more in the coming times. And that is also true for our environment. That’s why he became the CEO of that company.
Solar City –
This is America’s second largest solar energy producing company. And we know very well that solar energy is going to become one of our important needs in the coming tomorrow. And the Government of India is also giving subsidy to new entrepreneurs to do Solar Power. And some people have also started this business.
Hyperloop Train –
Hyperloop is a public transportation project on which Elon Musk is currently working. In this, passengers will have to sit inside the tube which looks like a capsule. And its speed will be 1000 Km/Hr. And which will become the fastest public transportation system ever on the ground.
